**Terms of Business for Services – Effective 6th May 2025** 

1. The Client affirms that the admission of their dog is based on their representation that the animal is in good health and has not exhibited any aggressive or threatening behaviour towards people or other dogs. 

2. The Client will not blame and payback Purrfect Day Pet Care against any and all costs, expenses, losses, liabilities and claims arising from said dogs behaviour unless Purrfect Day Pet Care is wilful or negligent.

3. Prior to the use of Purrfect Day Pet Care services, all dogs will undergo an initial assessment. The company reserves the unequivocal right to refuse admission to any dog, at its sole discretion, if deemed potentially dangerous or disruptive. 

4. The Client is obligated to inform Purrfect Day Pet Care immediately of any unwelcome, aggressive, or hazardous behaviour exhibited by their dog that may pose a risk to others. 

5. Purrfect Day Pet Care provides services that in the future may allow dogs to engage in group play. The Client acknowledges that injuries may occur during normal play, despite vigilant supervision. Such injuries may include, but are not limited to, scratches, punctures, torn ligaments, and other traumas. 

6. Dogs will only be permitted off the lead once an 'off the lead consent form' has been signed, and this will be subject to the discretion of Purrfect Day Pet Care staff. 

7. The Client authorises Purrfect Day Pet Care staff to seek any necessary veterinary advice or treatment, preferably through the Client’s usual veterinary provider, though alternative registered veterinarians may be utilised in emergencies. All costs must be settled upon the collection of the dog, or as otherwise agreed with the proprietor. 

8. Purrfect Day Pet Care reserves the right to deny admission should the Client fail to provide sufficient proof of vaccinations (including Bordetella), or if such vaccinations are found to be expired or otherwise incomplete. 

9. Bitches in season or pregnant are prohibited from attending Purrfect Day Pet Care, with the right to refuse admission maintained if these criteria are not satisfied. 

10. The Client acknowledges that, despite vaccination against Bordetella (Kennel Cough), there remains a risk their dog may contract the condition. The Client agrees that Purrfect Day Pet Care is not liable in the event their dog contracts Kennel Cough during attendance. 

11. The Client agrees to take requisite precautions to ensure their dog remains free from contagious, infectious, or communicable diseases and to immediately notify Purrfect Day Pet Care of any exposure to or infection by such conditions. This includes, but is not limited to, Distemper, Hepatitis, Kennel Cough (Bordetella), Parvovirus, Coronavirus, worms, Lyme disease, fleas, pregnancy, infectious skin diseases, and intestinal parasites. Purrfect Day Pet Care reserves the right to refuse admission until satisfactory resolution of any condition is achieved. 

12. The Client consents to their dog being photographed, filmed, or utilised in any media or promotional materials by Purrfect Day Pet Care, without prior notification. All media produced remains the property of Purrfect Day Pet Care. If the client wishes not to have their animal used in any media this can be agreed before commencement of services.

13. Purrfect Day Pet Care is not liable for any breach of security or loss of or damage to the Owner’s property if any other person has access to the property during the term of the agreed service.

14. The Client must ensure that their dog has not eaten within one hour prior to its pick-up to allow adequate time for digestion before exercise or play, as failure to comply may result in Bloat (Gastric Torsion), a potentially life-threatening condition. 

15. The Client agrees to provide keys or arrange access for the dog for the agreed appointment; failure to do so will result in cancellation of that day's service, which the Client will be charged in full. 

16. By signing the key holder waiver form, the Client indemnifies Purrfect Day Pet Care fully against any liabilities arising from loss or damage to property or its contents, both present and future. 

17. Cancellation or Early Termination

• Full payment is required upon booking to secure dates
• Should any dog become aggressive or dangerous, Purrfect Day Pet Care may terminate the contract with immediate effect.
• Any wrongful or misleading information in the Pet and Owner's information sheets may constitute a breach of terms of the Contract and be grounds for instant termination thereof.
• If terminating services indefinitely the owner must give 30 days’ notice to Purrfect Day Pet Care. If sufficient notice is not given any remaining bookings for the month will be charged.

Dog Walking Cancellations and Refunds

• More than 48 hours' notice: any remaining credit on the owner's account can be used to reschedule the service for a future date or a refund given.
• If less than 48 hours: no refund will be issued. In exceptional circumstances, such as emergencies or serious illness, refunds may be considered at the discretion of Purrfect Day Pet Care.
• If Purrfect Day Pet Care cancels within 48 hours, a substitute may be appointed with the Owner’s approval. 

Pet and House-Sitting Cancellations & Refunds

• More than 30 days’ notice: Full refund, minus a £50 administration fee.
• Between 15- and 30-days’ notice: 50% refund, minus a £50 administration fee.
• Less than 15 days’ notice: No refund available. 

18. No amendments to these Terms and Conditions shall take effect unless confirmed in writing by Purrfect Day Pet Care.
