About Us

If you’re new here or thinking of getting in touch, I’d love to properly introduce myself!

 

I’m Saffron, a professional pet sitter and dog walker based in Salisbury, providing reliable, compassionate care for cats, dogs and small animals in the local area. Before starting my pet care business, I worked in the NHS and care industry for 20 years. Supporting people through all stages of life taught me patience, responsibility, empathy and the importance of trust - values that now sit at the heart of how I care for every pet.

 

I also hold Level 3 qualifications in Canine First Aid, Welfare and Behaviour, so you can feel confident your dog is in knowledgeable and capable hands. For cats - I'm almost near completion of a feline first-aid and health care course too!

 

Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I’m also a proud owner of a tabby rescue cat who keeps me on my toes and reminds me daily just how individual and special every pet truly is.

 

Every service is personalised to fit your pet’s routine, ensuring they feel safe, secure and relaxed in their own home environment. For me, pet care isn’t just about feeding, walking, and ticking boxes. It’s about building trust. It’s about noticing the small changes in behaviour, understanding their quirks, and giving them the same level of care and reassurance you would yourself.

 

Whether you need regular walks, holiday cover, or just a helping hand during busy weeks, I aim to make the experience smooth and stress-free for both you and your pet.

Training & Development

We're committed to continually advancing our professional development to ensure that the care we provide is firmly rooted in industry best practices. We continue to update our knowledge through courses provided by the University of Edinburgh Veterinary School, Professional Association of Canine Trainers (PACT), Institute of Modern Dog Trainers (IMDT), Canine Principles and Canine First-Aid delivered by Animal Love.

 

Our holistic and reward-based approach to pet care is at the forefront of our service delivery. During a meet and greet, we will gladly show evidence of the relevant training we have undergone, assuring you of our expertise and dedication to your pet's well-being.

For those seeking more adventure, Castle Hill Country Park provides open space for exercise and even features a secure dog agility area, ideal for energetic pups to play and train. These diverse walking routes ensure every outing is engaging, stimulating, and tailored to your dog’s needs.
